Crossrail project:

Elizabeth Line Station Art

Ebbinghaus is proud to work with Futurecity to create artwork for the Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line Station.

In 2016, Futurecity was appointed to develop a visionary art commissioning strategy for Crossrail. In order to raise the profile of this ambitious public art project Ebbinghaus commissioned internationally-renowned artist Michal Rovner.

Rovner’s site-specific, 16-metre-long video screen-based artwork 'Transitions' was unveiled on the 3 October 2019 at Crossrail Place, Canary Wharf station.

In 2019 Ebbinghaus was commissioned to create a project at the London Museum of Water & Steam to celebrate their 100 year history.

Lead designer Jerry Lopez took on the role of creating custom animations and using projection mapping to illuminate the architecture detail along one side of the museum's largest engine house.

Francis Lott was the programmer and engineer. Equipment used include a pair of Barco FLM-R22+ projectors from PRG XL Video along with a Green Hippo Karst media server.
